Enamel is a wonderful material for camping and outdoors! The contents of the beaker can be heated on all fireplaces and stoves: gas, electric and induction cookers, in the oven or over an open fire.
Your enamel mug consists of a steel core covered with enamel (a composition of glass). Therefore, the mug is robust, but still sensitive to impact, as the glass coating can break on hard edges.
